Ray Sun

Spillernavn:
John Christer Rusti
Oppsummering:
Summer-aristocrat. Gold Elemental. Short temper, but royal bearing. Wields a spear and wears gold-clad clothes.

Raymond was 19 years old and working as a goldsmith apprentice when one day while minding the shop alone a large extremely beautifull woman came into the shop. She was clad in countless jewels and gold. He found it hard to concentrate around her as she bought one of the most expensive golden necklasses they had there. As she left barley withouth saying a word, he simply couldn't resist, closed the shop and followed her as stealthily as he could. He wasn't used to following people, but as he was a thin and lithe and a up and coming athlete he found it came naturally to him.

However, as the lady rounded a corner and Raymond followed there she stood looking directly at him with a wrathfull glare. He doesn't quite remember what happened next, but he wake up in a bed, wich he soon realized were golden. In fact, most things in the room was made of gold and other precious metals.

12 years later.

Ray has been living as a king. Litterally. When he woke up all those years ago he was given a kingdom to rule, but at the same time a terrible curse. Everything he touched turned to gold except for The Lady. Luckily he didn't seem to need any sustenance except for what he got in bed from The Lady. He ruled his court and his lands as best as he could and continued to train his athletic hobbies. He never liked fighting, but The Lady told him that a king would need to be armed and know how to use his weapon. The only weapon-like thing he knew how to use was a throwing spear, but he knew nothing about its applications in combat. At first he tried to learn how to wield it directly and forcefully but found that his physique was not very well suited for such close combat. Through hard training and the magical help of his lady he instead became the best spearthrower in all his kingdom. Through this he gained some fame among his people, but with his curse still in place life was hard.

After a while he began plotting to escape this place to find someone to rid him of his curse. After a couple of failed attempts where the Lady discovered him and punished him harshly by turning parts of his body into gold as well, he finally found a way. The country was walled in by great walls of thorns, impossible to go through and no fire seemed strong enough to burn them away. His sages however told him that a deal with the sun could be made to harness its enormous power against the thorns. He gradually began worshipping the sun and soon had made his entire kingdom follow suit. The Lady was suspicious at first, but considering all the great churches made from gold and precious jewels he built for sun-worship she let him have his fun. However, after a grand festival to the sun, he managed to get the deal he needed and the next day with the sun at its highest point he gathered the suns power at the thorns and shot a blast of golden rays of light from his hands which smoldered the thorns into ashes. As the newlymade hole in the wall opened up he ran for it. He ran all he could through the hundreds of yards thick wall blasting sunlight infront of him. The thorns seemed to try and reach out to stop him, but he dodged and weaved out of the way. Finally he was out on the other side and had no idea of what to expect of this new world..

Gullunge!

For Sol Invictus!
