Ava Kensington
Ava grows up in Paris where her father is the Britsih consul. Her parents being on the "public" display all the time, Ava is early being taught how to behave herself to be beyond reproach. She spends her holydays in the irish countryside that she calls home. Once graduated from the international section of the prestigious Henri IV high school, her father sends her to Cambridge, where she studies history and political science, and takes a PhD in Linguistics. Finally free from the paternal domination, she graduates at 23 and starts a small job as a freelance journalist for Le Nouvel Observateur in Paris. One night, she meets Helena Dickinson, Editor in Chief of American Vogue, the contact is instant, she offers Ava to work as a photographer for her in New York. Ava accepts and moves to the US for 2 years. Her work is starting to get recognized by the profession. Still something is missing in her life. She wants more, an undieing thirst for uncovering the unknown haunts her steps.
Through an old friend of her father, she steps into AFP (Agence Francaise de Presse), french equivalent of Reuters, world photographer, grand reporter. She takes the offer and starts travelling the world. Every summer, she goes back to Ireland, where she just lays down on the grass, sun caressing her face, the whispers of the wind in her ears. Home, this vast land of green feels like home. Until nothing.
"Black-out. To wake up in an empty room. Falling down the abyss again. Black-out. To wake up to discover those faces staring at you. The world is gone. The older world is back. Where is the truth? Knowledge is useless. Feelings. Perception. Lived too fast too early. Learning a new life. Finding a way out. Being back and the world has changed. Being back to what was and is, but will never be the same again. Starting yet again to struggle. With a slight difference...I am not alone anymore."
Ava presents herself as a woman that has received strict education and raising. She has a lot of class, dresses chic but never extravagant. All is elegant and graceful. She has this beauty from the old time. Her travelling around the world has strenghten the traits of her face, she lost the baby cheek-bones she used to have for so long. Her bright green eyes sparkle with a constant inner rage. Thirst for justice and to give back hope.
Ava is not a sports addict but she enjoys skiing, swimming and horseback riding. She has a full figure with long flowing auburn hair, and she is working on keeping her hourglass shape making her curves more noticeable. She dresses in ample clothes, favours black, green, dark red and beige. She ties her back in a long braid or a poneytail, but if she dresses for the evening then she lets it flows all the way down her back, on a satin black dress. Ava enjoys classical and rock music, cooking, art and history. She can spend hours browsing the internet for articles, news, or indulge herself in her hobby for the mystery and occult in the world.
Ava as a fae harbours long curly copper hair with greenish stripes. Her bright green eyes still glow of the same rage. Her skin is tan, sunkissed, like after a long day spent in the sun. She lives her Summer fully. Pointy elvish ears are completing her portrait with a few freckles spread on her nose. She has a thing for shells, as she collects them, clean and polish them and tides them in an impressive window collection.
