Hexcon game convention

Hexcon is a game convention held annually in Trondheim in early November or late October. It is organized by the game club Hexagon.

The programme contains both board games, roleplaying games and miniature wargames. Playing in English is usually no problem, so even if you don't speak Norwegian that's no reason to stop you from coming.

Time

This year's event takes place 13. -15. November at Åsvang school.

Place

We meet at Åsvang school (see map), near Dragvoll. Take bus no. 36 or 66 to Åsvang school, or bus no. 5 or 9 to Voll studentby, which is 5 minutes walk away.

Registration

Pre-registration started 21st September, and closed at 6th November. Now, you'll have to register when you arrive at the convention.

Age limit

You have to be 14 or older to attend Hexcon (or be old enough to at least go to "ungdomsskolen").

Prices

We give discount to those who haven't been at Hexcon before. All who attend Hexcon 2009 also get membership in the gamer's club Hexagon from 16th November and the rest of they year, and those who are members already get a discount for that. This results in a lot of different prices, but hopefully it's still possible to understand.

Pre-registration

  • If this is your first Hexcon:
    • ...and you're a member of Hexagon already: 130,-
    • ...and you're not a member of Hexagon yet: 180,-
  • If you have been at Hexcon an earlier year:
    • ...and you're a member of Hexagon already: 150,-
    • ...and you're not a member of Hexagon yet: 200,-
  • And if you want to join the convention dinner on Saturday, that costs 200,- in addition

Prices if you pay when you arrive, instead of pre-registering

  • All of Hexcon, if this is your first Hexcon:
    • ...and you're a member of Hexagon already: 150,-
    • ...and you're not a member of Hexagon yet: 200,-
  • All of Hexcon, if you have been at Hexcon an earlier year:
    • ..and you're a member of Hexagon already: 190,-
    • ...and you're not a member of Hexagon yet: 240,-
  • Just one day:
    • ...if you're a member of Hexagon already: 80,- (you only get this discount once, so if you pay for a single day on Friday, and another single day at Saturday, the second day costs 130)
    • ...and you're not a member of Hexagon yet: 130,-
